John E. DeLauro (Surgery)

The John E. DeLauro scholarship is to be awarded to a current third year student. The scholarship is a one-time award and may not be renewed. The applicant must demonstrate and document academic achievement in 1st and 2nd year medical school courses, as well as demonstrate interest in pursuing a career in surgery.

Louis and Rachel Rudin Foundation Diversity (NYC)

The Louis and Rachel Rudin Foundation Diversity Scholarship lists its criteria for eligibility as follows:
1) students from within the five boroughs of New York City,
2) students from the state of New York,
and 3) students from across the United States.
Applicants should document ties to New York and provide evidence of academic excellence.

Maurice H Rees

The Maurice H. Rees Scholarship is to be awarded to a rising third year student who has exhibited the fine qualities of academic excellence and devotion to duties as manifested by Dean Maurice H. Rees during his lifetime. This award is for resident tuition including all fees.

Virginia Glassman (Research)

This scholarship is available to students pursuing a medical degree who have demonstrated research activity. There is a preference for but not a limitation to women and under-represented populations.

William I. Smith Family Scholarship (Primary Care)

The William I. Smith Family Scholarship is to be awarded to a rising second year student. This scholarship provides $10,000 per year, renewable for three years. The applicant must demonstrate and document academic achievement in medical school courses as well as demonstrate interest in pursuing a career in primary care.

Wilson Family Medical Scholarship (Rural Track)

This scholarship is available to students (MS2-4) in the Rural Track Program or other students who are committed to practicing in a rural community after their clinical training. This scholarship provides one $10,000 one-year, non-renewable scholarship.
